Have a summer to remember with this incredible 25-day tour around Western Europe’s biggest and best cities! See it all from the chic streets of Paris to the beach paradise of San Sebastian and the romantic canals of Venice.

Day 1: London to Paris, France. First up: it’s Paris, city of love, style, and delicious food! Take a drive around the city hotspots and then tuck into a gourmet picnic beneath the Eiffel Tower.

Day 2: Paris. Spend the day exploring chic Paris at your leisure. Opt to take a city bike tour, watch a cabaret show or glide along the Seine on an evening boat cruise.

Day 3: Paris to Bordeaux. Journey south to the sunlit vineyards of Bordeaux. Famous for it's beautiful vineyards and stunning river, you'll be searching for the best wine you can find (Hint: It’s all amazing!)

Day 4: Bordeaux. Explore the area, tasting grape after grape, and raise a glass to your incredible European adventure. If wine’s not your thing, don’t worry. Bordeaux is also home to fantastic coffee houses, fashion stores and gourmet restaurants.

Day 5: Bordeaux to San Sebastian, Spain. Get your palate working at an included wine tasting and then enter Spanish territory. Head out for a walking tour of the city before settling down for some tapas as the sun goes down.

Day 6: San Sebastian. Time to soak up some rays on San Sebastian’s exquisite beaches. Take a wander around the old town before stretching out on the golden sand!

Day 7: San Sebastian to Madrid. Take a driving tour around Madrid’s bustling city streets before setting off for some independent exploration. Then get ready for a night out on the town. Madrid is buzzing after dark.

Day 8: Madrid. A free day for whatever you want to do. Art your thing? Head to the Prado or the Reina Sofia. Football fan? Visit the home of Real Madrid – the Bernabéu. Enjoy a final night of city drinks and entertainment.

Day 9: Madrid to Valencia. Now to the home of Paella! Valencia is a majestic coastal city with fantastic museums, great nightlife and beaches that stretch on forever. Enjoy!

Day 10: Valencia to Barcelona. Explore the zesty food markets of La Boqueria and get shopping in Barcelona’s up and coming fashion districts. Round off another perfect day in Spain with an optional flamenco show.

Day 11: Barcelona. Visit anything you didn’t have time for yesterday, explore colourful Park Güell or grab a coffee and watch the shadows shifting across the squares of the city.

Day 12: Barcelona to Marseille, France. Head for vibrant Marseille. Take a walking tour of the city and discover historic treasures and picture-perfect skylines.

Day 13: Marseille. Wander among gleaming white yachts on the port, grab a bite to eat in a side-street bistro, and then watch the sunset on the seafront. Another marvellous day in France!

Day 14: Marseille to Florence, Italy. Continue the road trip down to the white walls and narrow streets of Florence. Bring on the pizza!

Day 15: Florence. Wake up and walk off last night’s feast with a tour led by a local guide. Then grab a cone of gelato and roam the sunlit alleys.

Day 16: Florence to Rome. Stop off in Pisa to see the Leaning Tower and then hit Rome. Imagine being a gladiator at the Colosseum, toss a coin and make a wish at the Trevi Fountain and marvel at the mighty Pantheon. 

Day 17: Rome. Head over to the home of the Pope today. Not only an architectural and spiritual wonder, Vatican City is also the smallest country in the world!

Day 18: Rome to Venice. Now for the romantic waterways of Venice! Soak up the atmosphere of this incredible city on the water and discover spectacular hidden squares and vibrant wine bars. Why not hop on a gondola to finish?

Day 19: Venice. Get out on the water with an included Vaporetto ride and marvel at the colourful neighbourhoods and majestic churches.

Day 20: Venice to Swiss Alps, Switzerland. Now for the stunning Swiss Alps. Take a deep breath of clean mountain air and bask in the glorious hilltop views.

Day 21: Swiss Alps. You may be in some of the most serene surroundings in the world but today is all about adrenaline! There are loads of optional activities to get involved in from helicopter rides to river floating to skydiving!

Day 22: Swiss Alps to Luxembourg City, Luxembourg. You’ll soon fall in love with this fairytale city of church spires, tall bridges and winding streets. Take a walk and discover tiny tunnels, hidden nooks and wonderful passageways.

Day 23: Luxembourg City to Amsterdam, Netherlands. Amsterdam has charm, grace and a nightlife that will blow you away! For a truly Dutch experience, enjoy a clogs and cheese demonstration before heading out to explore.

Day 24: Amsterdam. The day is yours to do whatever you please. Top attractions include the Van Gogh Museum, the Anne Frank house or the Heineken HQ. Then get dressed up for a canal cruise dinner!

Day 25: Amsterdam to London, England. Time to say goodbye to your group and guide as you travel back to where you started.

Arrival information

This trip starts in London. You will need to make your own way to London and be at the joining hostel by 6am, ready to check in, in time for a 7am departure.

Due to the early start, you may wish to pre-book a night at the hostel for the night before. We can help you make this arrangement. Extra accommodation will be at your own cost.

The trip ends in London at approximately 9pm at the same hostel you departed from.

Accommodation & meals

24 nights of accommodation are included on this tour. 18 nights will be spent in hostels and 6 nights in bungalows at European campsites.

24 breakfasts, 3 lunches and 10 dinners are included. You will need to purchase the rest of your meals yourself. This is a great chance to delve into the fantastically varied cuisine that can be found across the continent. From French pastries to Spanish paella to Italian pasta - you won’t be short on delicious things to try!

Minimum age & eligibility

The age requirements for this trip is 18 - 39 years. 

Please make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months after the last day of your trip. Some countries will refuse entry if there is not at least 6 months validity on your passport after your departure date from their country. Please check visa requirements for your nationality. with the relevant embassies.

Trained and knowledgeable staff
Our staff in the UK are trained to help you with your trip before you depart and answer any questions you may have. In addition, the local team and guides on our trips are there to help with any health and safety concerns and to ensure our trips run safely and smoothly.

Reduced group sizes
Some trips will run with reduced group sizes to start with. You may find that trips are more intimate and chilled, whilst still being packed with fun and adventure.

Healthcare
Your guide or the local team will be on hand to help you seek medical attention should you require it during your trip. As medical facilities and standards can vary around the world, you should ensure you have adequate travel insurance in place before you depart to cover you for any medical emergencies.

24/7 emergency support
We operate an emergency phone line for our travellers abroad. This is operated by a UK based member of staff 24/7 if you have a genuine emergency or urgent matter that you need attending.

It is important that you take measures to make travelling safer for yourself and others around you. Ensure you frequently wash your hands, cover your face when you sneeze and cough, bring and use your own hand sanitiser and facial coverings/masks, and enable social distancing where necessary. You should also ensure you listen to the instructions and guidance of the local team at all times, and follow all local laws and restrictions.
