This 12 day adventure in the Philippines is an incredible mix of exploration, and relaxation, with sun-bleached sands, palm trees and turquoise water all the way. You’ll start in vibrant Manila, and hop from island to island with a small group of like-minded travellers. The trip is packed with activities for adrenaline junkies, with kayaking, snorkelling, sailing and more, but there’s also plenty on offer if you prefer to chill, with the most perfect beaches in the world at every turn. When the sun goes down, you won’t be short of fun either, with some legendary nightlife on Boracay, you’ll be dancing barefoot on the sand until the sun comes up.

Day 1: Welcome to the Philippines. You will be met at Manila airport and taken you to your accommodation, where you can meet your travel buddies. If you arrive on an early flight, you’ll have some time to explore the chaotic charm of the city. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner with your new friends.
Day 2: Travel to Boracay. Fly to jewel-like Boracay Island. Enjoy dinner before getting dressed up and heading to the legendary White Sand Beach, where the party keeps going seven days a week.
Day 3: Boracay Boat Trip. All aboard the party boat! Spend the day sunbathing, snorkelling and paddle-boarding in the deep blue sea.
Day 4: Boracay Beach Day. It’s all about the beach today- grab a cocktail, a hammock or a volleyball! In the evening, it’s time to get your dancing shoes on again as we find the best parties on Boracay.
Day 5: Travel to Cebu. It’s a bus and a flight to the island of Cebu, where you’ll stay in lively Moalboal for the next three days. After check-in, enjoy some dinner and drinks al fresco in one of the many beach restaurants.
Day 6: Waterfalls & Lagoons. Head deep into Cebu and discover some of the Philippines’ most beautiful waterfalls. You’ll swim in lagoons, and natural springs as well as going behind the waterfall at Kawasan Falls on a bamboo raft.
Day 7: Swimming with Whale Sharks. You’ll never forget today’s experience – swimming with the gentle giants of the sea - whale sharks! In the afternoon, travel back to Moalboal and snorkel during a ‘sardine run’.
Day 8: Flight to Palawan. Head to Palawan - one of the most gorgeous islands in the world. Our base is El Nido, overlooking the indigo waters of Bacuit Bay. Settle in, before heading out for something to eat and drink at the coolest beach bars in El Nido.
Day 9: El Nido Beach Day. Mellow out in the sun with your mates, enjoy the beautiful jungle backdrop, and swim in the sparkling azure sea.
Day 10: Boat & Snorkelling Trip. Jump aboard a private boat for a full day of island hopping. Snorkel over brightly coloured coral reefs, discover the spectacular ‘Secret and Big Lagoons’, and opt to explore the bay by kayak before eating lunch from a banana leaf! Sample some more local dishes at a cooking class in El Nido this evening.
Day 11: El Nido Fun. El Nido has loads to offer. Catch some more rays on the beach, decompress with a massage, or hit the shops.
Day 12: Time to say goodbye. Pack up, exchange numbers and say goodbye to everybody. You can leave El Nido at any time in the day. Your memories of this amazing trip will last a lifetime.

Arrive into Manila Airport on day 1, where your greeter will meet you and take you to your accommodation. Airport transfers are included in the cost of the tour up to one day before the tour start date. If you arrive any earlier, there will be a charge of around £15 for a local airport pick-up.
Please note, if you do arrive any earlier than the tour start date, accommodation will be at your own cost. If this is the case, we can help you organise extra accommodation, so let us know!
Your tour ends in El Nido on the island of Palawan on day 12. Return airport transfers are not included as part of the tour, but your tour guide can help you arrange this for an extra cost. You’ve got two return transfer options if you leave El Nido at the end of the tour
Plane: Fly to Manila from El Nido. Take a 20 minute taxi from the town centre to the airport. From Manila you can fly home, or on to your next destination. Although only limited airlines operate this route, we recommend this option if you are short on time.
Bus and Plane: Take a bus from El Nido to Puerto Princesa, then a flight from Puerto Princesa to Manila. The bus journey is booked locally and takes around 6-8 hours, depending on departure times. Your tour guide can help you organise this journey.
Please allow enough time to travel from El Nido back to Manila at the end of your trip before your flight out of Manila. We recommend departing from Manila after 6pm if you are flying from El Nido. If you are flying from Puerto Princesa you book a flight departing Puerto Princesa after 7pm. We would also recommend you spend an additional night in Manila before flying out the following day.
11 nights’ accommodation is included from the start date of the tour. All accommodation is twin or triple shared rooms in hotels, apart from in Manila and Boracay, where you’ll be staying in mixed-sex dorm hostel accommodation. All accommodation is of a high standard with air-conditioning and free Wi-Fi.
5 breakfasts and 1 lunch are included on this tour. You’ll need to buy the rest of the meals yourself so this is a great opportunity to soak up the culture of the Philippines by trying local food from street vendors and checking out the wonderful restaurants and bars these islands have to offer. The Philippines has a rich and varied cuisine, with specialities including crispy salt fish, squash and eggplant stews, and beef cooked in tomatoes and bananas!
The minimum age to join this trip is 18.
British citizens can enter the Philippines without a visa for a stay of up to 30 days, provided you have a valid return or onward travel ticket and six months’ validity on your passport.

Transport and accommodation choices
Our suppliers and partners choose the accommodation and transport on our trips very carefully, and you may see a change to what would normally be used as a response to the outbreak. This may involve such changes as enhanced use of private transport or quieter accommodation.
Trained and knowledgeable staff
Our staff in the UK are trained to help you with your trip before you depart and answer any questions you may have. In addition, the local team and guides on our trips are there to help with any health and safety concerns and to ensure our trips run safely and smoothly.
Reduced group sizes
Some trips will run with reduced group sizes to start with. You may find that trips are more intimate and chilled, whilst still being packed with fun and adventure.
Your guide or the local team will be on hand to help you seek medical attention should you require it during your trip. As medical facilities and standards can vary around the world, you should ensure you have adequate travel insurance in place before you depart to cover you for any medical emergencies.
24/7 emergency support
We operate an emergency phone line for our travellers abroad. This is operated by a UK based member of staff 24/7 if you have a genuine emergency or urgent matter that you need attending.
It is important that you take measures to make travelling safer for yourself and others around you. Ensure you frequently wash your hands, cover your face when you sneeze and cough, bring and use your own hand sanitiser and facial coverings/masks, and enable social distancing where necessary. You should also ensure you listen to the instructions and guidance of the local team at all times, and follow all local laws and restrictions.
