Experience the colourful cities, deserts and mountainous views of vibrant Morocco! Set off your adventure in Marrakech and travel to the breathtaking Todra Gorge. Visit historic sites in AÏt Ben Haddou, visit unique kasbahs and trek spectacular hikes up to Aroumd. Your tour will be full of immersive cultural experiences, including staying in a traditional gîte in the mountains and touring Amazigh villages. Stay in coastal towns and take a surf lesson in Taghazout. Travel with like-minded travellers and an experienced guide to show you all the best spots to explore!

Day 1: Marrakech. Time to meet your group! Arrive at any time and get excited for your adventure.
Day 2: Marrakech to Todra Gorge. Take a scenic drive as we leave Marrakech and head to Tinghir for a cultural city tour! Tonight, we’ll be sleeping surrounded by the Tondra Gorge!
Day 3: Todra Gorge to Merzouga. Head into the glistening desert for a stunning camel ride and a campfire dinner under the clear night sky!
Day 4: Merzouga to AÏt Ben Haddou. Drive down to the Route of 1000 Kasbahs this morning for enchanting roads through the desert. We’re heading to historic AÏt Ben Haddou, where you can explore the unique sand dunes and gorgeous kasbahs!
Day 5: AÏt Ben Haddou to Aroumd (Aremd). Experience dramatic views in Toubkal National Park before heading to the quaint village of Imlil. Enjoy the spectacular hike up to Aroumd where we’ll refuel with a delicious local meal and sleep in a traditional gîte!
Day 6: Aroumd (Aremd) to Marrakech. Hike back to Imlil as we head back to bustling Marrakech! Wander the colourful markets and tasty food stalls as the sun goes down!
Day 7: Marrakech. Enjoy some free time today to see the best of the lively city! Tonight, it’s time to test out the Marrakech nightlife with your group!
Day 8: Marrakech to Taghazout. Today we head to “Little Marrakech”, hidden in unique red walls! We’ll spend some time exploring the Taroudant before continuing to Taghazout! Take a tour through Amazigh villages to see banana plantations and the production of honey.
Day 9: Taghazout. Rise and shine for a surf lesson! Spend your day enjoying the waves or trek some epic hikes! Snap pics of a stunning beach sunset as we eat a delicious bonfire meal together!
Day 10: Taghazout to Essaouira. Swap out one gorgeous coast for another! Take an introductory tour to Essaouira and explore the buzzing streets and shops.
Day 11: Essaouira to Marrakech. Enjoy one last breakfast together as we head back to Marrakech where our tour will end. We recommend booking onward transport after 4pm and we look forward to seeing you again soon!

You may arrive on Day 1 at any time as there are no planned activities on the first day. Once you arrive in the starting accommodation, you will be able to find details about your Welcome Meeting in the reception area.
You can get a taxi from the main car park. It is approximately a 20 minute drive to the starting accommodation. You can also pre-arrange an arrival transfer, which will meet you outside the airport.
Your tour ends on Day 11. We will arrive in Marrakech at approximately 12pm so it is advised you do not book onward travel until after 4pm. Your group leader will be able to assist with onward travel.
This tour includes 11 nights of accommodation, including 7 nights in twin-share hotels, 1 night in a multi-share traditional gîte and 2 nights in a twin-share surf house. Below is listed an example of accommodation you may stay in. Please note that all accommodation is subject to change.

This tour includes 10 breakfasts, 1 lunch and 4 dinners. You are expected to purchase the remaining meals yourself, which is an excellent opportunity to experience local cuisines.
The minimum age to join this group trip is 18 years old. British citizens can enter the country without a visa for a visit of up to 3 months. This trip is designed for travellers aged 18-39.

This trip is designed with your safety and wellbeing in mind. As a result of Covid-19, many of our suppliers and partners around the world are introducing new policies and procedures surrounding health and safety in response to the Coronavirus outbreak. Arrival safety meetings
Most trips have an arrival meeting on the first day where the guide or local team will run through the trip, the safety protocols, and to answer any questions you may have. Now more than ever it is important you arrive in time for these meetings.
Proof of vaccination or negative covid test
For the safety of all travellers, at the start of some trips you may be required to show evidence that you are fully vaccinated (14 days after your second dose) and/or show evidence of a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of the tour start date in order to join the programme.
Updated hygiene and safety procedures
Our suppliers and partners have health and safety procedures in place on all of our trips. These protocols will be updated and adapted as a response to the Coronavirus outbreak, dependent on local restrictions and laws.
Transport and accommodation choices
Our suppliers and partners choose the accommodation and transport on our trips very carefully, and you may see a change to what would normally be used as a response to the outbreak. This may involve such changes as enhanced use of private transport or quieter accommodation.
Trained and knowledgeable staff
Our staff in the UK are trained to help you with your trip before you depart and answer any questions you may have. In addition, the local team and guides on our trips are there to help with any health and safety concerns and to ensure our trips run safely and smoothly.
Reduced group sizes
Some trips will run with reduced group sizes to start with. You may find that trips are more intimate and chilled, whilst still being packed with fun and adventure.
Your guide or the local team will be on hand to help you seek medical attention should you require it during your trip. As medical facilities and standards can vary around the world, you should ensure you have adequate travel insurance in place before you depart to cover you for any medical emergencies.
24/7 emergency support
We operate an emergency phone line for our travellers abroad. This is operated by a UK based member of staff 24/7 if you have a genuine emergency or urgent matter that you need attending.
It is important that you take measures to make travelling safer for yourself and others around you. Ensure you frequently wash your hands, cover your face when you sneeze and cough, bring and use your own hand sanitiser and facial coverings/masks, and enable social distancing where necessary. You should also ensure you listen to the instructions and guidance of the local team at all times, and follow all local laws and restrictions.
