This Spanish language programme is based in the beautiful city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. With 20 hours of exciting Spanish language lessons per week, plus a brilliant, buzzing city hostel location which offers fantastic optional activities, this is the ideal way to immerse yourself in the South American way of life, make new friends, have fun, party and learn Spanish at the same time.

Spanish Language Classes

You’ll arrive on a Sunday and your Spanish language lessons will begin on the Monday. You’ll take part in customised Spanish lessons at your city hostel, learning in small groups at either beginner, intermediate or advanced level.

Classes are held on weekdays and run for 4 hours per day (a total of 20 hours per week). All courses include a study of grammar through theory and practice, and work on vocabulary, pronunciation, listening, reading and writing exercises. Please note that lessons are held completely in Spanish; there's no better way to immerse yourself in the full Spanish-speaking experience!

Extra Activities and Cultural Excursions

You will live and learn Spanish at one of Buenos Aires’ most fun hostels, where you’ll get to make lots of new friends and spend lots of free time enjoying all the brilliant daily optional activities and entertainment laid on by the hostel. Not only are these extra activities a great way to improve your Spanish they are also great fun and make sure you max out every moment of your time in Argentina.

Arrival information

You should arrange your arrival into Ministro Pistarini International Airport (EZE), also known as Ezeiza International Airport in Buenos Aires on a Sunday. You will be met on arrival and taken to your city hostel to begin your learn to speak Spanish experience (lessons begin on a Monday).

Accommodation & meals

For your duration in Buenos Aires, you will be staying in a city hostel, located in a beautiful five-storey 19th-century house built around a charming, colonial-style atrium. Both your Spanish lessons and your organised activities use the hostel as a base, so you will have easy access to all your inclusive events and activities, hassle free.

All accommodation is included in comfortable shared, mixed-sex dorm accommodation, with shared facilities. You will stay in spotless rooms with comfortable beds, free internet and Wi-Fi access, and a full laundry service is also offered at your hostel. If you wish, single or twin room upgrades are available for an extra cost; please ask for details at the time of booking.

Breakfasts at the hostel are all inclusive. Other than this you’ll need to allow spending money for all of your remaining meals. With kitchen facilities and a bar at your hostel, as well as a city full of Argentine cuisine just minutes away, you won’t have any trouble finding delicious food round every corner.

Minimum age & eligibility

The minimum age to join this learn Spanish programme is 18, with the average age of participants between 18 and 25. However, we welcome people of any age on this trip, providing you can handle the pace!

When entering Argentina, British nationals will not require a visa, and will be granted a 90 day trip permit (around 12 weeks/3 months) upon arrival. If you would like to extend your trip or plan to stay in the country longer then a visa would be necessary. To obtain this you should either contact the Embassy of the Argentine Republic in London, or contact us for more information. You may find when you arrive into Argentina that immigration officials ask you for proof of onward travel/a return ticket. Those who enter Argentina without this may, on occasion, be refused boarding by some airlines.

As with all travel you should ensure that your passport will remain in date for at least six months after you plan to return from your travels.
