Hands up if you’ve been dreaming of tropical shores. Well, here’s the good news – you can travel to Thailand again without quarantining! This awesome group trip takes you to the highlights of the North and South. Kick off with 7 dreamy beach days in Phuket then travel the length of the country and party the night away, snorkel in turquoise seas, spend the night in a floating bungalow, kayak through mangrove swamps, trek into the hills and enjoy an unforgettable day in an elephant camp. With two trip lengths to choose from, you can tailor the trip to you. Travel never felt so good!

Day 1: Arrive in Phuket. Welcome to amazing Thailand! Feel the excitement rise as the plane wheels hit the tarmac! We’ll meet you at the airport and take you to your accommodation in Patong. Chill by the pool or sip a smoothie at the bar before meeting the rest of your group this evening.
Day 2: Phuket island tour. Get to know beautiful Phuket a little better today, with a guided tour. Check out the atmospheric Old Town, visit two or three of the island’s best beaches and trek to a sunset viewpoint – wow!
Days 3 - 7: Beach bliss. Book a traditional Thai massage, take a hike, rent a kayak, or just laze around on Patong’s white sands. On day 4 we’re going to a beach club in the evening and on day 7, we’ve got a selection of awesome activities lined up for you, like snorkelling, stand up paddleboards and a yummy beach barbecue – this is living!
Day 8: Phuket to Koh Phi Phi. Make tracks for the paradise island of Koh Phi Phi. We’ll arrive in time to explore the fab beach and to take an afternoon trek to the island’s best viewpoint. In the evening get ready to party Phi Phi style!
Day 9: Phi Phi boat trip. Today we’ve got an unforgettable boat trip lined up. Stop at the unforgettable Maya Bay (star of the classic movie The Beach), swim at some of the best snorkelling spots and pay a visit to Monkey Beach, where you’ll meet the cheeky residents. What a day!
Days 10 – 11: Phi Phi beach days. Spend the next couple of days relaxing on beautiful Phi Phi. Play beach volleyball, snorkel round the bays, hike into the jungled interior and party like a wild thing at night. It’s a couple of days of pure bliss.
Day 12: Phi Phi to Ao Nang. Travel to the beachside resort of Ao Nang. Drop your stuff at the accommodation and head out for a lip-smacking street food crawl – wear your eating trousers!
Day 13: Bor Thor kayak & caves. Jump in the minivan to Bor Thor, where we’ll start our amazing kayak trip! Paddle through steamy mangrove forests filled with wildlife. and stop at a local cave to see 3,000-year-old cave paintings! Enjoy dinner and drinks on the Ao Nang Strip tonight.
Day 14: Ao Nang beach day. Enjoy a free day in Ao Nang. Bum around on the beach, pick up some souvenirs in the shops, or chill by the pool in the grounds of your hotel.
Day 15: Hong Island boat trip. Sail into the Phi Phi National Park on today’s boat trip. Stop at 3 – 4 islands, including jewel-like Hong and Poda. Relax on the sands with your travel crew, take a dip in the crystal-clear sea and snorkel over colourful coral reefs – bliss.
Day 16: Ao Nang to Khao Sok. We’re headed to one of the most beautiful, but unspoilt places in Thailand – Khao Sok National Park. It’s like a real-life Garden of Eden. Spend the night in a traditional Thai float-house on Cheow Lan Lake – a really memorable experience.
Day 17: Khao Sok & transfer to Bangkok. Wake up on the lake to the sound of birdsong and monkey calls. You’ve got most of the day to enjoy the peace and beauty of the national park, before we take the overnight train to Bangkok.
Day 18: Trip end or Bangkok night out. Arrive in Thailand’s bustling capital this morning. If you’re on the 18 day trip, your adventure ends here. If you’ve taken the 25 day option, you’ve got the rest of the day to enjoy the city. Head to Khao San Road later for an awesome night out.
Day 19: Bangkok tour. Today we’ll take a full day tour of the highlights of the ‘City of Angels’. Explore canal-side temples, busy markets, leafy backstreets and mouth-watering street food. Tonight, we’ll party hard – remember, what happens in Bangkok stays in Bangkok!
Day 20: Bangkok bike tour & overnight to Chiang Mai. Spend today getting to know the city even better with a bike tour. It’s a great way to really get up close to daily life here. Tonight, we’ll hop on a comfy overnight train to Chiang Mai.
Day 21: Chiang Mai. Wake up as the train rolls into Chiang Mai. Take a walking tour of the city, including some of the busy local markets. This evening grab a bite to eat and a cold Singha, before exploring some of the nightmarkets and nightlife.
Day 22: Hill trek & homestay. Head into the lush surrounding countryside, where we’re taking an amazing 2 day trek through jungles and rice-paddies. We’ll spend the night in a traditional homestay, for a real insight into rural life in this part of the world.
Day 23: Elephant camp. Our trek finishes up at an amazing elephant camp. Spend the day with these majestic beasts, feeding them and walking them down to a local river for a bath. It’s an experience you’ll never forget. We’ll stay at the elephant camp tonight.
Day 24: Return to Chiang Mai. Travel back to Chiang Mai, where we’ve lined up an authentic cooking course for you in the afternoon. Sizzle up a storm, before tucking into what you’ve made. Then freshen up ahead of one last night out together.
Day 25: Trip end. Your amazing adventure in Thailand has come to an end. Swap numbers with your new friends, pack your bags and head home. We bet you’ll be planning your next trip on the return flight!

Your amazing adventure kicks off on day 1 in Phuket.
Arrive in Phuket International Airport (HKT) and one of our local team will be there to meet you and transfer you to your starting accommodation in the heart of Patong. You’ll need to do a Covid test on arrival at your hotel. In line with the Thai Government’s guidelines around Covid-19, you’ll be required to fly directly into Phuket (not stop over in Bangkok) and spend the first 7 days of your trip there (see minimum age and eligibility section for more information).
If you’re on the shorter trip, your adventure ends on day 18 in Bangkok. Return airport transfers are not included, but the guide can help you book a taxi back to the airport for around £15.
If you’ve booked the longer trip, you’ll finish up in Chiang Mai on day 25. Chiang Mai Airport (CNX) operates a number of international flights. Taxi to Chiang Mai airport takes around 15 minutes from the city centre, depending on traffic and costs around £10.
Where you'll be staying...
17 or 24 night’s accommodation are included on this trip. You’ll mostly be staying in a selection of stylish hotels and lodges with pool, on a twin share, single sex basis. 6 breakfasts, 4 lunches and 2 dinners are included on the 18 day trip and 7 breakfasts, 6 lunches and 4 dinners on the 25-day trip. You’ll have to buy the rest of your meals and your snacks and drinks yourself. This gives you maximum flexibility to explore the local cuisine. Food in Thailand is delicious and very affordable.
You’ll need to be a minimum of 18 years old to join this trip. This trip is designed for those aged 18-35.
British travellers do not need a visa to enter Thailand for stays of 30 days or less. You will need to ensure that you have at least 6 months remaining on your passport from your date of entry into the country.
Covid-19 entry requirements
From 1st of October 2021, fully vaccinated travellers can do this itinerary in Thailand without having to quarantine on arrival.
This trip has been carefully designed to comply with Government guidelines regarding entry to and travel around Thailand and therefore the itinerary spends the first 7 days of the trip in the beach island of Phuket, before travelling on around Thailand. You’ll need to take a Covid-19 test on arrival at your hotel. For this trip you will need to fly into Phuket and a number of airlines fly this route which does not stopover via Bangkok.
Before heading to Thailand, travellers are required to:
- Obtain a Certificate of Entry (CoE) before departure (this is a simple online form and we can advise you on how to do this)
- Present official proof of vaccination (both jabs) which were given more than 14 days before entry
- Present a negative PCR test result (within 72 hours of departure from the UK)
- Download the Thailand Plus tracking app before departure from the UK and upload the required information
- Obtain travel insurance with COVID-19 cover
This trip is designed with your safety and wellbeing in mind. Most trips have an arrival meeting on the first day where the guide or local team will run through the trip, the safety protocols, and to answer any questions you may have. Now more than ever it is important you arrive in time for these meetings.

Our suppliers and partners have health and safety procedures in place on all of our trips. These protocols will be updated and adapted as a response to the Coronavirus outbreak, dependent on local restrictions and laws.
Transport and accommodation choices
Our suppliers and partners choose the accommodation and transport on our trips very carefully, and you may see a change to what would normally be used as a response to the outbreak. This may involve such changes as enhanced use of private transport or quieter accommodation.
Trained and knowledgeable staff
Our staff in the UK are trained to help you with your trip before you depart and answer any questions you may have. In addition, the local team and guides on our trips are there to help with any health and safety concerns and to ensure our trips run safely and smoothly.
Reduced group sizes
Some trips will run with reduced group sizes to start with. You may find that trips are more intimate and chilled, whilst still being packed with fun and adventure.
Your guide or the local team will be on hand to help you seek medical attention should you require it during your trip. As medical facilities and standards can vary around the world, you should ensure you have adequate travel insurance in place before you depart to cover you for any medical emergencies.
24/7 emergency support
We operate an emergency phone line for our travellers abroad. This is operated by a UK based member of staff 24/7 if you have a genuine emergency or urgent matter that you need attending.
It is important that you take measures to make travelling safer for yourself and others around you. Ensure you frequently wash your hands, cover your face when you sneeze and cough, bring and use your own hand sanitiser and facial coverings/masks, and enable social distancing where necessary. You should also ensure you listen to the instructions and guidance of the local team at all times, and follow all local laws and restrictions.
