Further trip information

Day 1:  Vancouver to Whistler. Meet the gang in Vancouver and take the Sea to Sky Highway to Whistler. The views are insane, so sit back, plug in the tunes and take it in. In Whistler, op to fly through the air at 102kmh on the Superfly zipline before a mouth-watering dinner and a few brews with your new friends.

Day 2: Whistler. Whistler is a looker – think snow-capped peaks and pine-fringed lakes. Breathe the fresh mountain air,  choose to canoe along the River of Dreams, take a hike through picture postcard scenery, or take a gondola to the top of the mountains – what a place!

Day 3: Whistler to Sun Peaks. Grab a window seat and watch the craggy mountains and sparkling lakes of the Lillooet Mountain Range go past. Our destination today is Sun Peaks. Soak up your spectacular surroundings and take a gondola ride when we get there for the best views.

Day 4: Sun Peaks to Jasper (via Mt. Robson). Take a panoramic picnic at Mt Robson. Then you can get your adrenaline pumping with a white-water rafting optional excursion on the Fraser River. Dry off and hop back on the coach to Jasper.

Day 5: Jasper. Get ready for a day of non-stop incredible. We’re talking wildlife, vast icefields and glacial lakes. Hike into Maligne Canyon, check out the azure waters of Maligne Lake and cruise to Spirit Island, the most photographed view in the Rockies (you’ll know it when you see it).

Day 6: Jasper to Banff. We’re hitting the Columbia Icefield Parkway with stops at Athabasca Falls, bright blue Peyto Lake, Lake Louise and a ride on the Ice Explorer across the Athabasca Glacier. Try the glacier water (just don’t get your tongue stuck!) Roll into Banff ready for drinks and dinner.

Day 7: Banff. Banff is mountain scenery, hiking trails, grizzly bears and cute lodges. Take a gondola up Sulphur Mountain for views to die for. We’ve got some stellar activities on offer. Mountain climbing, helicopter over Assiniboine Glacier or a horse ride with fire-cooked steak anybody?

Day 8: Banff to Vernon. Cross three national parks today, including the Spiral Train Tunnels, Glacier National Park (home to over 400 glaciers), Roger’s Pass and Mt Revelstoke National Park. Arrive in Vernon, dump your stuff and head out for dinner in a traditional pub – cheers!

Day 9: Vernon to Vancouver. Take a drive through Canada’s wine country on your way back to beautiful Vancouver. See the nine Totem Poles in Stanley Park, hit the boutique stores in Gastown and pick up some dim sum in Chinatown. Later, how about some live music in Yale Town?

Day 10: Vancouver. It’s your last day in Vancouver so make the most of it! Check out some independent art galleries, pick up souvenirs on Main Street, visit Lynn Canyon Park or catch a hockey game. Round off your amazing adventure in style, with a dinner cruise with your new friends.

Day 11. Trip end. It’s time to swap contact details and say goodbye to the group. Our Canadian adventure comes to an end today. See you again soon!
