Kick off your adventures in colourful Costa Rica, where you can have fun in the adrenaline town of La Fortuna and explore the beautiful Monteverde cloud forest. You’ll then enjoy a few days of beach bliss in the gorgeous coastal town of Santa Teresa. Travel on to El Salvador to see stunning scenery off the beaten track and discover the Mayan ruins of Copán in Honduras. Round off your Central American odyssey in gorgeous Antigua, Guatemala. An unforgettable journey!

Day 1: Arrive in San José, Costa Rica. There are no activities scheduled so you are free to arrive at any time. 6pm welcome meeting.
Day 2: San José to La Fortuna. Travel to Costa Rica’s adventure town of La Fortuna, which lies at the base of mighty Arenal Volcano.
Day 3 & 4: La Fortuna. Enjoy free time in La Fortuna. Try canyoneering, whitewater rafting, hot springs, paddleboarding, cave visits and much more!
Day 5: La Fortuna to Monteverde. Travel to the stunning Costa Rican cloud forest of Monteverde and relax in this out-of-the-way spot.
Day 6: Monteverde. A free day in Monteverde: Visit Santa Elena Cloud Forest, go ziplining, tour a coffee plantation, horse ride and try other optional activities.
Day 7: Monteverde to Santa Teresa. Travel to the beautiful coastal town of Santa Teresa. Enjoy a few days of beach bliss here.
Day 8 & 9: Santa Teresa. Enjoy two free days of exploration and relaxation in this slice of paradise. Explore Cabo Blanco National Park, enjoy some optional surfing or simply chill out on the beach.
Day 10: Santa Teresa to San Jose. Return to the capital and prepare for your flight to El Salvador the following morning.
Day 11 & 12: Concepción de Ataco. Fly from San Jose to El Salvador and travel to the Cerro Verde region known for it's extinct volancoes lush greenery.Opt to hike Santa Ana Volcano.
Day 13 & 14: Suchitoto. Spend the morning on a guided tour of Cerro Verde National Park then travel to Suchitoto and sample pupusas, a local delicacy.
Day 15 & 16: Copán, Honduras. Travel into Honduras. Optional visit to the Mayan ruins of Copán. Other activities include a bird park, hot springs, or horse riding.
Day 17: Copán to Antigua, Guatemala. Cross another border and travel on to Guatemala’s colonial city of Antigua.
Day 18: Tour ends in Antigua, Guatemala. Your amazing adventure ends today in Antigua. If you want to extend your stay we can help you arrange some extra nights’ accommodation. Please speak to a travel advisor for further details.

You should arrange your arrival into San Jose International Airport (SJO) on day 1. There are no activities scheduled on this first day, so you can arrive at any time. An airport transfer is not included. There will be a welcome meeting at your hotel at around 6pm, where you will meet your group and guide.

Please note that in Central America most accommodation does not provide hot water, so you can expect to have cold water showers on this trip – the perfect way to cool off!
1 breakfast and 2 dinners are included on this tour. Please bring USD515-670 to cover the cost of other meals on the trip.
The minimum age to join this trip is 18. This trip is designed for travellers aged 18-39.
Costa Rica: British nationals will not require a visa in order to enter Costa Rica, and can remain in the country as a visitor for up to 3 months. You will have to pay an exit tax of USD5.
El Salvador: British nationals do not need a visa to visit El Salvador for up to 90 days.
Honduras: British nationals don’t need to get a visa in advance to enter Honduras, but can get a 30-day tourist visa on arrival. There is an entrance and exit tax of USD3.
Guatemala: British passport holders don’t need a visa to visit Guatemala for stays of up to 90 days. There is an USD1.25 entrance tax and a USD3 exit tax in Guatemala.
